Can the US Men’s Team follow in the US Women’s footsteps to win their tournament?

Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois. The match between the USA and Mexico will be played here for the Championship of the 2019 Gold Cup

CHICAGO – Soldier Field is empty now. The TV Tech personnel are checking their connections. Making sure that all audio and video settings are just right. The USA Team nor the Mexican National Team have arrived. The place is empty.

The personnel at the stadium believe that Mexico is going to win. On the other hand, there is a group of people that hope to see a US win in Chicago after the big US win in Lyon.

The last time the two teams met at Solder Field was in the previous Gold Cup Final. At that time, the US was victorious. However, a lot has changed since then. Many of the experienced players have retired and there has been a string of Head Coaches since then.

Despite the US Team playing well during this tournament, they will have their work cut out for them today. Mexico is playing extremely well and they have kept basically kept their 2018 World Cup squad together.

The match is scheduled to begin at 2015 CDT and you can watch it live on your local Fox channel.

That joke was funny a year ago, find some new material. No US men’s player has beaten Mexico more than I have. Let’s be positive and cheer on our @USMNT as they beat Mexico…like the last time we played them at Soldier Field in the GC Final!!! 🇺🇸⚽️🇺🇸 https://t.co/k0tHd6mUWu
